It's all about politics, he needed u.s help with since they both shared the same enemy, this doesn't make him an american puppet. Saddam was never wrong in his war with iran and now you can obviously tell the threat of iran which is no less than israel or u.s. and let's not forget the amount of the good things that Saddam did for the arab nation, he was always generous with his brothers. i'm not saying he was a saint but at least he tried to do a chage. there egyptians , lebanese , syrians , morrocans, saudis , kuwaitis
we all have different cultures and habits , for example those in lebanon say they are not even arabs .
we as egyptians speak only arabic , but completely different than other arab countries , especailly those of the gulf .
egyptians are originally not arab even lol

well saddam had problems with many arab countries also . he had problems with syria, egypt , saudi so on most arab countries.
he killed 30000 egyptian employees in iraq during the iran iraq war .
we used to have many egyptian companies duing construction work there before the war since iraqis were busy fighting each other lol

well saddam did not even follow pan arabism , which was against having any foreign powers in the middle east.
he followed american orders and attacked iran and took from them rockets and planes to attack iran , which caused unstability in the whole middle east .

saddam is an american agent , he even killed arab people and no one liked him . in 1956 iraq allowed british planes to bomb egypt , and they were enemies of nasser . Saddam broke many of the rules set by gamal abdulnasser, which is to protect his own people , saddam killed his own people lol |
